BBQ Chicken Sammy
- 1/3 cup deli roast bbq chicken
- 1/3 cup nappa cabbage
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) grated carrot
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) chopped green onion
- 1 1/2 Tbsp (22 ml) bbq sauce
- 2 slices Wonder+ Enriched White Loaf or Wonder+ SimplyFree*
- 1 tsp (5 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp (5 ml) finely chopped mint
- Place the chicken, chopped vegetables and herbs (optional) in a small bowl.
- Add BBQ sauce into the small bowl to coat. Add lime juice, if you desire.
- Lightly toast the bread slices.
- Spread the filling over one slice of the toast and top with the other.
- Cut sandwich into half or quarters with a serrated knife.
