Ingredients

  • 3 slices Wonder+ 100% Whole Wheat Bread or Wonder+ Headstart Whole Wheat Bread
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) dijonnaise (mayo and mustard)
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 2 slices avocado
  • 3 slices deli sliced turkey

Directions

  1. Spread all three slices of bread with the dijonnaise.
  2. Layer one slice with lettuce and tomatoes. Place the second slice of bread, dijonnaise side down, on top of first layer. Spread a little more dijonnaise on top of this slice of bread.
  3. Top with avocado, turkey slices and third slice of bread, dijonnaise side down.
  4. Place four toothpicks in the sandwich to secure layers and slice into squares or triangles using a serrated knife.
